What is EncycloMedia?

EncycloMedia Specialists

To meet your training needs, there are two district level trainers in addition to a minimum of one trained EncycloMedia specialist in every school. All of these trainers use EncycloMedia in their lessons and with students and are willing to assist you or your staff to take advantage of the outstanding resources of EncycloMedia.

  • Who can give me a passcode?

To aquire a teacher or student passcode, please contact your school EncycloMedia Specialist for assistance.

  • How can I provide my students with accessibility within district and at home?

Click here to download the PDF that provides information for creating student accounts.

  • I am having problems viewing the downloaded WMP movie clips on my TV.
    I can see them on my computer, but only a blank screen shows up in the media player.

    Open Windows Media Player, then from the Tools menu select Options. Press the tab for "performance" and turn "Video Acceleration" down or off. Encyclomedia .wmv videos should then play.

  • How can I view and check for video clips already on the server?

    Using a PC, go to Start > Run >
    Type \\e525000n0\video > OK
    * Be sure to type zero not the letter "o" when entering e525000n0


    Then click "View" on your toolbar for viewing either as: Thumbnail, Tiles, List, or Detail
